HEAVENSAKE, a premium sake brand, needed a cohesive and refined brand identity that would seamlessly blend Japanese minimalism with French elegance. While the existing branding elements were scattered across various presentations and decks, there was no structured brand book to ensure consistency across digital and physical touchpoints. The challenge was to define HEAVENSAKE’s visual and verbal identity while setting a foundation for future design applications, including the website, packaging, and marketing assets.

At the same time, HEAVENSAKE required a complex integration of Webflow and Shopify for its e-commerce operations, ensuring compliance with alcohol regulations across multiple regions, including the US, Japan, and Europe.

Solution

OhBEV partnered with HEAVENSAKE to craft a comprehensive brand book that would serve as the definitive guide for all brand communications.

  • Brand Strategy & Definition: Conducted deep-dive workshops to distill the brand’s core philosophy, values, and personality into a clear and structured framework.
  • Verbal Identity Development: Established HEAVENSAKE’s unique tone of voice, messaging guidelines, and storytelling framework, ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints.
  • Visual Identity System: Designed a refined typography system, color palette, and layout principles, carefully balancing Japanese restraint with French sophistication. Developed iconography and imagery guidelines to create a visually compelling narrative.
  • Implementation Blueprint: Provided guidelines for applying the brand identity across digital platforms, packaging, marketing materials, and event activations, ensuring long-term scalability.

In parallel, we supported HEAVENSAKE in implementing a complex Webflow + Shopify integration for its e-commerce operations, ensuring smooth functionality, localization, and regulatory compliance. While the current website follows the previous brand identity, the new visual communication is in the process of implementation based on the brand book.
